In fact, the many turns (job changes), pauses (burnout, job searches…), and fresh starts (switching industries, starting a small business, etc.) I’ve experienced along the way—combined with my unconventional background—have led me today to follow my heart’s calling: to offer a new, lighter approach to anyone feeling lost or discouraged on their own professional or personal journey. To experience transformative career transitions that are true to oneself.

Self-directed learning involves an individual acquiring knowledge on their own, without the direct involvement of teachers in an institutional setting. As a reminder, this program is non-academic. It provides guidance in which learners are encouraged to work independently most of the time, since it is an online program. I’ve noticed that the titles we hold in the professional world can be tools for manipulating others. For example: “I’m ‘this,’ so I can afford to maintain the upper hand over you, who are just ‘that.’” This implies a less “elevated” position, for instance, when considering the social ladder.
